2nd Annual Banned Books, Bites & Booze Fest * Saturday, June 6 * 5pm to 9pm *FREE, but RSVP

Step into the bold and the forbidden at Peoria Book Rack's 2nd Annual Banned Books, Bites & Booze—a night where stories that challenged the status quo take center stage. Saturday, June 6 from 5pm to 9pm. Music starts at 5:30pm and goes until 8:30pm. 
Join us outside TAVERN on Prospect for specialty cocktails, live music by Jonny Quest, and powerful readings from banned and challenged books that have sparked conversation for generations. 
Enjoy delicious bites from local food trucks, connect with featured authors, and celebrate the freedom to read in an atmosphere that’s equal parts rebellious and unforgettable. We'll be set up in the parking lot, the large patio area that houses many umbrella tables and chairs, along the sidewalks under the overhang. We also rented an empty storefront next to TAVERN for the night and will have it filled with incredible authors and bookish vendors!
Bring your favorite camp chairs and enjoy the band!
